In addition to the HostGator Webmail clients, you may access your domain emails (address@YourDomainName.com) from email clients such as Outlook, Eudora, Thunderbird, iPhone or other mobile mail clients.

HostGator Mail Server

The incoming and outgoing mail servers (POP and SMTP) to be used for setting up one of the email clients mentioned above are the same and that is:

mail.YourDomainName.com

(Just replace YourDomainName.com with your actual domain name)

HostGator Mail Server Ports

SMTP port: 25
POP3 port: 110
IMAP port: 143

SMTP Secure mail port: 465
POP3 Secure mail port: 995
IMAP SSL port: 993

Tip: If you have difficulties in using the SMTP port 25, please try alternate ports – either 26 or 587.
